The Concentrix Assessment: Every Harver Module Explained

The Concentrix assessment is the online test Concentrix sends through Harver, a hiring assessment platform, after you apply for a call center or work-from-home job. Concentrix says it can test language, computer skills, customer support and typing, plus your internet speed and computer for remote roles, and every module is timed. Harver modules include scenario questions, a 12-minute live chat simulation and recorded video answers. Recruiters review the results. OphyAI Customer Service helps with the scenario, chat and video parts, live or in practice.

From Concentrix's own careers pages and US job postings, and from Harver's candidate help center, checked November 6, 2026. Harver lets each employer pick its modules, and Concentrix does not say which ones it uses. Anything from candidate reports says so.

Concentrix assessment question types

Harver describes each module in its candidate help center. Your invite and the first screen of each module show which ones you get.

Situational judgment

Job situations, each with several ways to respond. You pick the best and the worst response. Harver scores it as the percentage you get right.

Tip: The best response usually fixes the problem for the customer while following policy. The worst one ignores the customer or breaks a rule.

Live chat simulation

Three customer chats in 12 minutes, with a practice round first. For each message you choose one of three replies. Harver measures handle time, clear communication, customer focus and problem solving.

Tip: That is about 4 minutes per chat, so do not overthink one message. Pick replies that solve the issue and confirm the next step.

Typing test

You copy sentences shown on screen as fast and accurately as you can. Arrow keys, mouse clicks and copy and paste are blocked, and you must fix any error before moving on.

Tip: Harver needs a desktop or laptop with a keyboard for this one. Watch capital letters and punctuation, since every error has to be fixed.

Language tests

A multiple-choice test of reading, grammar and vocabulary, and sometimes a spoken test where you record yourself saying words, reading sentences and repeating sentences you hear.

Tip: Concentrix suggests reviewing basic grammar and vocabulary. For the spoken part, use a quiet room and a good microphone.

Personality questionnaire

Statements about how you work, scored on six personality dimensions against a global group of applicants. Harver says there are no right or wrong types.

Tip: Answer honestly with the job in mind: patience, steadiness and organization matter in support work. Stay consistent when the same idea comes back.

Recorded video interview

Questions on screen that you answer on camera, with a time limit to respond. A Houston candidate in September 2026 described a one-way interview that asked about their thinking process.

Tip: Have a short story ready about calming an upset customer. Look at the camera and keep each answer within the time shown.

Concentrix assessment example questions and answers

Written by us in the formats Harver describes, never copied from Concentrix's test. Try each one before you read the answer.

Example 1 · Situational judgment: best and worst

A tech support caller says their internet has dropped for the third time this week and they want to cancel their service.

Pick the best and the worst response.

  1. AProcess the cancellation right away without asking anything.
  2. BApologize, check the account for a pattern, offer a technician visit, and say you can still help with canceling if they prefer.
  3. CRead the standard restart steps from the top, even though they have done them twice this week.
  4. DTell them outages happen to everyone and there is nothing to do.

Best: B. Worst: D.

B treats the real problem and still respects the customer's choice. D dismisses them and solves nothing, while A and C at least do part of the job.

Example 2 · Situational judgment: best and worst

A customer asks you to waive a late fee. Your guidelines say you cannot waive it, but you can set up a payment date that avoids the next one.

Pick the best and the worst response.

  1. AWaive it anyway, since they seem upset.
  2. BExplain you cannot remove this fee, then offer to set a payment date so it does not happen again.
  3. CSay "it's policy" and move on.
  4. DTransfer them to another team without telling them why.

Best: B. Worst: A.

B is honest and gives the customer something useful. A breaks your guidelines, which scenario tests treat as the most serious mistake; C and D are unhelpful but within the rules.

Example 3 · Live chat: pick the reply

Chat. The customer writes: "Where is my order?? It was supposed to come yesterday."

Pick the best reply.

  1. A"Please be patient. Orders can be late."
  2. B"Sorry it's late. Can you share your order number so I can check where it is right now?"
  3. C"Did you check your tracking email?"

Best: B.

B apologizes, takes ownership and asks for the one thing needed to solve it. A brushes the customer off, and C sounds like blame.

Example 4 · Live chat: pick the reply

Chat. The customer writes: "Cancel my subscription. It's too expensive."

Pick the best reply.

  1. A"Done, it's canceled."
  2. B"I can help with that. Before I cancel, would a lower-cost plan work for you? If not, I'll cancel it right now."
  3. C"Are you sure? You'll lose all your benefits and it's a big mistake."

Best: B.

B offers a real option once and then respects the answer, a fair retention move. C pressures the customer, and A skips an easy chance to keep them.

Example 5 · Personality: agree or disagree

"I get frustrated when a customer asks me to explain the same thing twice."

Choose from strongly disagree to strongly agree.

  1. AStrongly disagree
  2. BDisagree
  3. CAgree
  4. DStrongly agree

Stronger fit for call center work: Disagree or Strongly disagree.

Patience with repeat questions is part of every support job. Answer honestly, but answer the same way when this idea comes back in other words.

Example 6 · Recorded video answer

Video question: "Tell us about a time you turned an unhappy customer around." You have 60 seconds.

Which plan makes the strongest answer?

  1. ATalk about how much you like helping people in general.
  2. BOne real example: what was wrong, what you did, and how the customer left, in about 45 seconds.
  3. CSay you have never had an unhappy customer.

Best: B.

B gives a specific situation, your action and the result, which fits a short timed answer. A is too vague, and C is hard to believe and gives the reviewer nothing to score.

How the Concentrix assessment is scored, and when you hear back

Concentrix publishes no passing score. Harver reports most modules on a 0-100% scale: situational judgment and the language test as the percentage you get right, and typing and the live chat simulation against other applicants, where 50% is average and most people land between 30% and 70%. Typing also shows your words per minute and errors. Personality results use a nine-point scale. Harver says each result is one data point that recruiters read with the rest of your application.

Results go to Concentrix recruiters. Concentrix says its team reaches out by phone first, then by email or text. Harver says companies usually contact you within two weeks, and each company decides whether you can see your own results.

From candidate reports: Glassdoor's summary of US reports describes an HR screen, then tests such as language, typing and situational tasks, then interviews with operations or team leaders. Glassdoor users report an average of 12 days to get hired across all Concentrix jobs and countries.

How to prepare for the Concentrix assessment

  1. Step 1

    Do what Concentrix suggests

Concentrix says to review basic grammar and vocabulary and the computer skills you may be tested on. Ten minutes on common grammar mistakes is time well spent.

  2. Step 2

    Set up your computer first

Use a desktop or laptop with the latest Chrome, Firefox or Safari, allow your camera and microphone, and connect to your home internet, not a phone hotspot.

  3. Step 3

    Practice the chat pace

The live chat simulation gives you 12 minutes for three chats, about 4 minutes each. Work through the examples above until picking a reply takes seconds.

  4. Step 4

Finish each section in one go

The clock starts when you open a module, and logging out mid-section loses your progress. Start each section only when you have time to finish it.

Is the Concentrix assessment proctored or recorded?

What Harver can track: since April 2025, Harver offers session monitoring that employers can turn on. It can take periodic photos of you during the assessment, block copy and paste, and detect when you switch tabs or windows. It reminds you the first few times and tells the recruiter if it keeps happening. Concentrix does not say which of these it uses. The typing test blocks arrow keys, mouse clicks and copy and paste, and video and spoken answers are recorded. Concentrix's US postings also say AI tools may help screen and assess applicants.

Timing and retakes: Concentrix says each module is timed from the moment you open it. You can log out between sections and keep your progress, but leaving in the middle of a section loses it, and you cannot change answers after you submit. Only Concentrix can approve a redo. It says you are welcome to apply again after a rejection but publishes no waiting period. Harver's internet speed test can be retried up to 2 times.

Concentrix assessment answers, AI help and cheating

Are there Concentrix assessment answers online?

No official ones. Concentrix and Harver do not publish their questions, and PDFs or flashcards online are not the real test. Scenario and chat items turn on small details, so a memorized list does not carry over. OphyAI Customer Service reads the actual question on your screen and shows the best answer.

Can AI help on the Concentrix assessment?

Yes, on the judgment parts. OphyAI Customer Service answers situational judgment items with the best and worst picks, picks the best reply in the live chat simulation, keeps personality answers consistent and gives short scripts for video questions. Use it in Chrome on a computer or in the desktop app for Mac and Windows. It does not take the typing test and is not built for the language tests.

Can Concentrix tell if you use AI on the assessment?

Harver, which runs the test, offers monitoring that employers can turn on: periodic photos, blocked copy and paste, and alerts to the recruiter when you switch tabs or windows often. Concentrix does not say which it uses, and its US postings say AI tools may help screen applicants. On OphyAI's side: it does not work inside lockdown or proctored browsers, it does not take typing-speed tests, and hiding a window from screen share does not hide it from a webcam, a person in the room, or proctoring software.

OphyAI Customer Service and the Concentrix assessment

OphyAI Customer Service reads each question of an online customer service assessment on your screen and shows the best answer in a small window only you can see. Practice mode gives you realistic mock tests that explain why each option is better or worse.

Use OphyAI Customer Service on the real Concentrix assessment, not just for practice. Harver supports Chrome and OphyAI works in Chrome, so share the test tab once in Chrome on a computer, or run it in the OphyAI desktop app for Mac and Windows. Each situational judgment item gets the best and worst picks in seconds. In the live chat simulation it picks the best of the three replies, and if a chat or email asks you to type, it writes a ready-to-paste reply with a Copy button. Personality statements get answers kept consistent across the test, and video questions get a short script to say.

What it does not do: it does not take the typing test, and it is not built for the language tests, the cognitive or multitasking games, or the internet and system checks. Try the free 3-question sample, or a practice test of 5, 10 or 20 questions for 5 credits, to get used to the scenario and chat formats first.

Concentrix assessment questions

Concentrix does not publish a total time, because the modules depend on the job. Each module is timed from the moment you open it, and Harver's live chat simulation, for example, gives you 12 minutes for three chats.

Concentrix does not publish one. Harver reports most modules as a 0-100% score, and recruiters read those scores with the rest of your application.

Harver says companies usually contact applicants within two weeks, though it varies by job. Concentrix says its team calls first, then emails or texts. Glassdoor users report about 12 days from application to hire on average, across all jobs.

You cannot change a module after you submit it, and Harver says only the company can allow a redo. Concentrix says you are always welcome to apply again after a rejection, and it publishes no waiting period.

Some parts, yes: Harver supports up-to-date iPhones and Android phones, and its chat module works on mobile. But the typing test needs a desktop or laptop with a keyboard, and Concentrix's US remote postings ask for a desktop or laptop for the PC and internet tests. OphyAI Customer Service also runs on a computer.

Harver is a pre-employment assessment company. Concentrix uses it to send language and competency tests by email after you apply. Harver is separate from Concentrix, so questions about your application go to Concentrix, and technical problems go to Harver support.

Your results go to Concentrix recruiters, who contact you by phone, email or text. Candidates describe an HR screen and interviews with operations or team leaders, and Glassdoor lists background checks and drug tests among common stages.

Concentrix says it never asks for money or bank details when you apply, never asks for your Social Security number or date of birth in the first application, and never interviews over Telegram, Facebook Messenger or Google Hangouts.
