OnDemand Assessment: What Your Criteria Test Invite Means

An ondemandassessment.com link means an employer has sent you a Criteria Corp assessment. OnDemand Assessment is Criteria's test site: you enter the Event ID from your invitation and take the tests the employer picked, usually online and unsupervised. The battery can mix an aptitude test (most often the CCAT, 50 questions in 15 minutes), a basic skills test, a personality questionnaire, an English test or a video interview. Your results go to the employer.

Criteria OnDemand Assessment question types

Criteria sells many tests and the employer chooses the mix. These are the ones you are most likely to see on ondemandassessment.com.

CCAT (cognitive aptitude)

50 multiple-choice questions in 15 minutes: verbal ability, math and logic, and spatial reasoning. No calculator, no penalty for wrong answers.

Tip: Pace yourself at about 18 seconds a question and guess rather than leave a blank.

UCAT (language-independent aptitude)

40 multiple-choice questions in 20 minutes on logic, numbers, attention to detail and spatial reasoning, with no verbal section.

Tip: Attention-to-detail items reward slow, exact comparison. Check every character.

CBST (basic skills)

For entry-level roles: basic math, verbal, grammar, spelling and attention to detail, 40 questions in 20 minutes. CBST2 splits this into 10-question modules.

Tip: Grammar and spelling items are quick points. Do not overthink them.

EPP (personality)

The Employee Personality Profile: 140 statements, about 10 minutes, scored on 12 work-style traits. No right or wrong answers.

Tip: Answer as you really work. There is no right profile to aim for.

CLPT (English proficiency)

An adaptive English test of reading, listening, writing and speaking, about 7 minutes per skill.

Tip: Use headphones and a quiet room for the listening and speaking parts.

Emotify and Cognify (game-based)

Emotify measures emotional intelligence in three interactive tasks (about 20 minutes). Cognify is a game-based aptitude test (about 15 minutes plus tutorials).

Tip: Do the tutorials properly. Game-based tests reward knowing the rules before the clock starts.

How Criteria scores your assessment

For aptitude tests, Criteria reports a raw score and a percentile against its norm group. On the CCAT the average is 24 correct out of 50, the 50th percentile. Employers compare that with a suggested range for the job family or with their own custom range.

Personality tests like the EPP have no right answers; they show how your work style matches the job. Employers can also combine everything into one weighted "Talent Signal" for the role.

Results are emailed to the employer that invited you and are not shared with other companies. Criteria advises employers not to send candidates their score reports, so expect to hear back about next steps rather than a number.

How to prepare for the Criteria OnDemand Assessment

  1. Step 1

Read the invitation for the test names

The email or the first screen usually lists each test and its time limit. Look up only those: a CCAT and an EPP need very different preparation.

  2. Step 2

    Take Criteria's free practice tests

Criteria's practice hub has an aptitude practice test similar to the CCAT, UCAT and CBST, about 10 minutes and unscored, plus practice for its other tests.

  3. Step 3

Block out quiet time and a good connection

Timers keep running once a test starts. Close other apps, silence your phone, and keep the Event ID handy in case you need to rejoin.

  4. Step 4

    Ask about accommodations early

Extra time and other accommodations are requested through the employer, not Criteria, so ask before you start.

Is the Criteria OnDemand Assessment proctored, and can it detect cheating?

Most Criteria tests are taken unsupervised. Criteria says it uses large question banks so no two candidates get the same set, limits copy and paste, can lock you out if you leave the test window, and logs timing and unusual answer patterns.

Employers can turn on Criteria AI Proctoring, a paid add-on that takes a photo before the test and periodic snapshots, captures your screen on desktop, records audio clips when it hears a voice and flags a visible phone. You are told before the test if it is on and asked to allow your camera, microphone and screen sharing.

Criteria OnDemand Assessment answers, AI help and cheating

Are there answers to the Criteria OnDemand Assessment online?

No. Criteria builds each aptitude test from large question banks, so no two candidates get the same set. For the questions on your screen, OphyAI Aptitude Test shows the answer and a one-line reason as each one loads.

Can AI help on a Criteria assessment?

Yes, on the aptitude parts: the CCAT, UCAT and CBST are multiple choice, which OphyAI Aptitude Test was built for. Personality tests like the EPP have no right answers, so there is nothing to solve there.

Can Criteria detect cheating?

Criteria limits copy and paste, can lock you out for leaving the test window, logs timing and unusual answer patterns, and flags results that look like a repeat. Employers can add AI Proctoring with photos, desktop screen captures and audio clips. OphyAI's popup is hidden from screen sharing and recording, but not from a webcam, a person in the room, proctoring software that inspects your computer, or a supervised retest.

OphyAI Desktop for Mac and Windows

OphyAI Aptitude Test and the Criteria OnDemand Assessment

Aptitude Test mode in the OphyAI desktop app reads each multiple-choice question on your screen and shows the answer, with a one-line reason, in a small popup only you can see.

Use OphyAI Aptitude Test on your real Criteria assessment, not just for practice. Start a test in the desktop app, open the Criteria assessment and turn on Auto: each question is answered as it loads, with the option to pick and a one-line reason, in a popup that macOS and Windows leave out of screen sharing and recording. Or press Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + A on any question.

It is built for the multiple-choice aptitude parts of a Criteria battery, like the CCAT, UCAT and CBST, not the personality or video parts. Employers can turn on AI Proctoring and can retest you.

Criteria OnDemand Assessment questions

It is Criteria Corp's assessment site. Employers who use Criteria send you a link and an Event ID, and you take their chosen tests there. It is a real hiring tool, not a scam, but always check the invitation came from the employer you applied to.

Whatever the employer chose. The most common aptitude test is the CCAT (50 questions in 15 minutes). Others include the UCAT, the CBST basic skills test, the EPP personality profile, the CLPT English test, Emotify and Cognify. Your invitation lists them.

It depends on the mix. The CCAT is 15 minutes, the UCAT and CBST are 20 minutes each, and the EPP takes about 10 minutes. Add a few minutes for instructions between tests.

Yes. Criteria says to go back to ondemandassessment.com and enter your Event ID to pick up where you left off.

Usually not. Results go to the employer, Criteria support cannot access them, and Criteria advises employers not to share score reports with candidates.

Usually not, but employers can add Criteria AI Proctoring with photos, screen captures on desktop and audio clips. You are told before the test starts if it is on.

Criteria says the CCAT works on a phone, tablet, laptop or desktop. A computer is easier for timed tests, and some proctoring features only work on desktop.
