Quick Answer: What Are the Best Verve AI Alternatives?

The best Verve AI alternative depends on what you need: OphyAI for a lower month-to-month price plus practice, resume and job-search tools, Parakeet AI for pay-per-credit access, LockedIn AI or Sensei AI for flat-rate or annual plans, Interview Sidekick for a one-time pass, and Final Round AI for a large feature set at a higher price. On September 29, 2026 Verve AI listed Standard at $44.99 a month (five 60-minute Copilot sessions) and Pro at $84.99 a month (unlimited 90-minute sessions), with lower rates billed yearly. The Tools

1. OphyAI

Best for: one price covering live help, mock practice and job-search tools.

Interview Copilot gives real-time answer suggestions during Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet interviews with a live transcript. Pro is $29 a month with 300 credits, about 20 Standard Copilot sessions; Premium is $59 with 500 credits and includes Coding Interview. Where offered, a $9.99 Interview Pass covers one Standard session up to 2 hours. OphyAI also includes Interview Practice, Resume Builder, Application Assistant, Job Search and a free Application Tracker. Honest trade-off: OphyAI is credit-based rather than unlimited, and it supports 35 languages against Verve’s 38 in its help center. See the OphyAI pricing page.

2. Parakeet AI

Best for: paying only for the hours you use.

Parakeet sells credits from 1 credit for $38 (a credit covers 60 minutes of calls) and an Unlimited plan at $149.90 a month or $599.90 a year. Its free allowance is 10 sessions of up to 10 minutes. See our Parakeet AI alternatives roundup and review.

3. LockedIn AI

Best for: flat-rate plans with no session count.

Unlimited General showed $54.99 a month as 50% off a struck-through $109.98, with Unlimited Professional at $119.99 and a Credits plan at $69.99. Its refund policy says monthly and quarterly plans are non-refundable once started. See our LockedIn AI alternatives roundup and review.

4. Interview Sidekick

Best for: a one-time pass instead of a subscription.

Its only paid plan showed $80 a month as a 50% promotion off $160, or $159 for a one-time 90-day pass that does not auto-renew. Its FAQ says all sales are final. See our Interview Sidekick alternatives roundup and review.

5. Final Round AI

Best for: candidates who want a large feature set and accept a higher price.

Monthly was $150, quarterly $250 and yearly $300 on the public plans page, and its homepage says there is no free trial for live sessions. It offers a 3-day (72-hour) refund. See our Final Round AI review and pricing explainer.

6. Sensei AI

Best for: annual buyers who want a low effective monthly price.

PRO was $89 a month, or $24 a month billed yearly (about $288 a year by our arithmetic). Free users get 15-minute sessions. Its homepage FAQ says it does not offer refunds. See our Sensei AI review.

Where Verve AI Is the Better Choice

Be fair to Verve AI. Its free plan is more generous than most: three 15-minute Copilot sessions plus 5 AI mock interviews and 14 AI tools, no card, against OphyAI’s one 15-minute Copilot session and one 15-minute practice session for eligible new users. Its Pro plan gives unlimited 90-minute Copilot sessions, so heavy users never count credits. If you will prepay a year, Verve’s yearly rates of $16.99 (Standard) and $34.99 (Pro) a month, billed upfront, work out to $203.88 and $419.88 a year by our arithmetic, below OphyAI’s $278 for Pro and $566 for Premium. It also lets you choose the AI model, and its help center lists 38 interview languages to OphyAI’s 35. Read the full Verve AI review for the detail.

OphyAI Pro is $29 a month (300 credits, about 20 Standard Copilot sessions of up to 2 hours) and Premium $59 a month (500 credits, includes Coding Interview); annual billing is 20% off. Verve is subscription-based with session caps by plan and OphyAI is credit-based, so compare the number of sessions you expect. How We Compared

We read each vendor’s pricing, FAQ and refund pages on September 29, 2026 and recorded the numbers with source URLs in our fact sheets. Promotional prices are labelled as promotions. Vendor claims such as invisibility, user counts and ratings are not repeated as facts, and we did not test detection. Prices change often, so confirm on the vendor’s site.

How to Choose

  • You have one or two interviews: compare free access first, then consider a one-time option such as OphyAI’s $9.99 Interview Pass where offered or Interview Sidekick’s 90-day pass.
  • You have many interviews in a month: compare Verve Pro’s unlimited sessions and other flat-rate plans against OphyAI’s credits.
  • You want one tool for the whole search: OphyAI bundles practice, resume and applications, while Verve lists 14 AI tools on every plan and a separate auto-apply product.
  • Refunds matter: Verve refunds only for technical issues or no use; Parakeet allows 7 days for unused purchases; Final Round AI allows 3 days; LockedIn AI, Interview Sidekick and Sensei AI are strict. Read each policy before paying.
  • Your employer’s rules: check whether AI help is allowed; our tracker of employers that allow AI in interviews helps.
