Quick Answer and Verdict: Is Verve AI Good?

Yes, Verve AI is a capable interview copilot with a real free plan, but it costs more than its pricing page first suggests: on September 29, 2026, Verve AI Standard was $44.99 a month, month-to-month, for five 60-minute Copilot sessions. The $16.99 and $34.99 a month prices the page opens on are annual rates, billed upfront as one payment for the year.

Who it fits: people who will prepay a year, want unlimited 90-minute sessions on Pro, or want to pick their AI model. Who it does not fit: anyone paying month to month for one busy month, and anyone who needs sessions over 60 minutes or the dedicated coding interview domain without paying for Pro ($84.99 month-to-month). For that group, OphyAI Interview Copilot runs sessions of up to 2 hours from $29 a month.

What Verve AI Is

Verve AI (vervecopilot.com, run by VERVE AI Inc.) is a live interview copilot. Verve AI Pricing (Checked September 29, 2026)

Verve AI interview copilot pricing has three individual plans: Free, Standard and Pro. Each has a month-to-month, quarterly and annual price, and the page opens on annual billing with a “59% OFF” badge, so the first numbers you see are the lowest.

PlanMonth-to-monthQuarterly (per month)Annual (per month, paid upfront)Copilot sessionsSession lengthMock interviews
Free$0, no card$0$0315 minutes5
Standard$44.99$39.99$16.99 ($203.88 a year)5 a month (15 a quarter, 60 a year)60 minutesUnlimited
Pro$84.99$59.99$34.99 ($419.88 a year)Unlimited90 minutesUnlimited

Yearly totals are our arithmetic. Also on the page:

  • Pro only: the coding interview, online assessment and phone interview domains, 20 interview domains in total, transcript export, custom prompts and 9 of the 22 listed AI models.
  • Every plan: live transcription, “Screen drag to capture” for AI analysis of anything on screen, the Resume Builder and the 14 AI tools.
  • Interview reports: 5 on Free, 10 on Standard, unlimited on Pro.
  • Support: Free gets email support on a “best effort basis”; Standard and Pro add live chat.
  • No published price: the Premium Model add-on and the auto-apply job agent.
  • No single-session purchase for individuals is listed. The only pay-per-session pricing ($10 a session, down to $5 at 500+) is on the Enterprise page, labelled “For Hiring Teams”.
  • A second price. Some Verve comparison pages quote $59.50 a month for unlimited use; we use the pricing page’s $84.99.

Per interview, Standard month-to-month works out to about $9 per 60-minute session ($44.99 for 5). Pro gets cheaper per session the more you interview.

What Verve AI Does Well

  • A generous free plan. Three 15-minute Copilot sessions, five mock interviews and the 14 AI tools, with no card. That is more free time than OphyAI’s one 15-minute Copilot session and one 15-minute practice session.
  • Low prices if you prepay. Standard at $16.99 a month billed yearly ($203.88) costs less than OphyAI Pro billed yearly ($278). Pro at $34.99 a month billed yearly gives unlimited 90-minute sessions.
  • Model choice, including GPT, Gemini, Claude and Grok models.
  • More languages. 38 interview languages in its help center, against OphyAI’s 35.
  • Store rating. Its Chrome Web Store extension showed 4.8 out of 5 from 53 ratings and 2,000 users on September 29, 2026 (companion extension store data, a small sample).

Limitations and Watch-Outs

Sourced from Verve AI’s own pages, checked September 29, 2026.

  • Month-to-month cost. $44.99 buys five 60-minute sessions. OphyAI Pro’s $29 covers about 20 Standard sessions of up to 2 hours.
  • The low prices are a yearly commitment. Yearly plans are “billed upfront,” and the refund policy says “Yearly subscriptions are a commitment for the full year.”
  • Narrow refunds. You must ask while the plan is active or within 5 business days after it ends, and only for “a verifiable technical issue on our end” or if you “did not use the service at all.” Processing is 7-10 business days on the website and 5-10 in the help center. The refund page was last updated June 16, 2024.
  • Session caps. 15, 60 or 90 minutes by plan. A 75-minute panel is longer than one Standard session.
  • The coding domain needs Pro. The coding interview, online assessment and phone interview domains are Pro only ($84.99 month-to-month); screen drag to capture is on every plan.
  • Numbers differ across its pages. 38 vs “55+” languages, and 21+ vs “30+” programming languages.
  • No review-site score here. Trustpilot and G2 did not load for our check, so none is quoted.

To be fair, Verve AI Pro is unlimited and OphyAI is not: a Standard Copilot session uses 15 credits, so Pro’s 300 credits cover about 20. OphyAI has no $9 plan; its Basic plan was retired in July 2026, so pages showing a $9 Basic plan, Pro at $19 or Premium at $39 are out of date. The full side-by-side is on our OphyAI vs Verve AI comparison page, with a longer feature write-up in OphyAI vs Verve AI: interview copilot comparison.

How to Decide

  1. Count your interviews and months. One interview: OphyAI’s $9.99 Interview Pass (where offered) costs less than any paid Verve plan. One busy month: OphyAI Pro at $29 against Verve Standard at $44.99. A year of steady interviewing you will prepay: Verve’s $203.88 or $419.88 yearly plans may cost less.
  2. Check your round length. If rounds run over 60 minutes, you need Verve Pro or a tool with longer sessions.
  3. Check your setup. To install nothing, OphyAI runs in the browser.
  4. Decide whether you need practice. If freezing or rambling is the real problem, per-answer feedback works on the cause; see AI interview coach vs AI interview copilot.
  5. Use both free tiers first, on the meeting app your interview will use, and follow the employer’s rules. See is using an interview copilot ethical or cheating.

How much does Verve AI interview copilot cost?

On September 29, 2026, Verve AI Standard cost $44.99 a month month-to-month, $39.99 a month billed quarterly or $16.99 a month billed yearly, for five 60-minute Copilot sessions a month. The coding interview, online assessment and phone interview domains need Pro (screen drag to capture is included), and longer sessions need Standard (60 minutes) or Pro (90 minutes).

Does Verve AI give refunds?

Only in narrow cases. Verve AI’s refund policy covers a verifiable technical issue on its side, or a subscription you did not use at all. You must ask while the plan is active or within 5 business days after it ends. Yearly plans are a full-year commitment, so early cancellation is refunded only if one of those conditions applies.

Does Verve AI work with Zoom, Teams and Google Meet?

Yes. Verve AI’s pricing FAQ says it works on Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and Webex. Its help center points people using the Zoom or Teams desktop apps to Verve’s Mac or Windows app. The browser version runs in Chrome, Edge or Opera, and a September 16, 2026 update lets it capture interviewer audio from a shared window or whole screen with system audio turned on. On mobile, only the Phone Interview Copilot is supported.

Is Verve AI worth it for coding interviews?

Its dedicated coding interview domain is Pro only: $84.99 month-to-month or $34.99 a month billed yearly. “Screen drag to capture” for AI analysis is on every plan, and its browser coding copilot needs Chrome. OphyAI’s Coding Interview, a screenshot workflow for coding and system design rounds, is on Premium at $59 a month.

What is a cheaper alternative to Verve AI?

For month-to-month buyers, OphyAI Pro is $29 with 300 credits, about 20 Standard Copilot sessions of up to 2 hours, against Verve Standard’s $44.99 for five 60-minute sessions. For one interview, OphyAI’s $9.99 Interview Pass, where offered, covers one session up to 2 hours. Verve still costs less if you prepay a full year.
