Quick Answer and Verdict: Is LinkJob AI Worth It?

LinkJob AI is a desktop interview copilot with live answer help, coding-screenshot help and AI mock interviews. On September 29, 2026, it sold four plans: Monthly at $99.99, Quarterly at $69.99 a month, Yearly at $29.99 a month (billed $359.88) and a $999.99 Lifetime plan. All four list unlimited use, and the plans differ only in which AI models you get. Monthly is expensive for a short search; Yearly and Lifetime only make sense if you will interview for months.

Who it fits: candidates who will commit to a year, Linux users, and people who want to choose the AI model themselves. Who it does not fit: anyone with one or two interviews who wants to pay for a short stretch. For that group, OphyAI Interview Copilot starts at $29 a month, and you can rehearse the round first in OphyAI Interview Practice.

What LinkJob AI Is

LinkJob AI (its site also writes “Linkjob AI”) is a native desktop app for Mac, Windows and Linux. Its homepage says it can “provide answers to interview questions, analyze your coding test screenshots” and run AI mock interviews. You can give it your resume, the job description and custom instructions.

DetailWhat LinkJob AI’s own pages say
How it runsNative desktop app; the downloads page lists installers only, with no browser or mobile version
PlatformsMac (Intel and Apple Silicon), Windows 7/8/10/11, Linux (RPM, AppImage, DEB); app version 0.3.4
Meeting and test apps namedZoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Lark, Cisco Webex, plus HackerRank, CodeSignal, CoderPad
Coding helpScreenshot-based with hotkeys, not an official integration
Not on its siteResume builder, job search, application tracker, cover letters (its English sitemap lists 11 pages)

Its downloads and pricing pages warn users to expect an “unverified program” prompt, and a Mac “Open Anyway” step or a Windows SmartScreen prompt.

LinkJob AI Pricing (Checked September 29, 2026)

The pricing page shows no $0 plan. Every paid plan lists unlimited use of the live assistant, mock interviews, coding copilot and screenshots (a vendor claim; no fair-use cap is published). What changes between plans is the AI model tier.

PlanPriceModel tier
Monthly$99.99 a month, auto-renewsBasic models
Quarterly$69.99 a month, billed $209.97 every quarterProfessional models
Yearly$29.99 a month, billed $359.88 a yearPremium models
Lifetime$999.99 one timeLatest top-tier models

Other pricing details:

  • One-time option. The same three subscriptions can be paid once with no renewal: Monthly $119.99, Quarterly $239.97 ($79.99 a month) and Yearly $479.88 ($39.99 a month). The page says this “costs slightly more than the subscription option.”
  • Recent change. An archive.org capture dated June 18, 2026 shows Lifetime at $699.99; it was $999.99 on September 29, 2026. Other prices were unchanged.
  • Free access. A 30-minute trial when you download the app, 45 minutes if you join its Discord or WhatsApp community, and one hour for leaving a Reddit or Trustpilot review. It allows one trial per person. Its site does not say whether a card is ever asked for.
  • Refunds. Its pricing FAQ offers money back only on first-time Quarterly and Yearly purchases, tied to “significant technical bugs.” It says “Monthly plans are non-refundable. Renewals and plan upgrades are also non-refundable.”

What LinkJob AI Does Well

  • Yearly price for unlimited use. At $29.99 a month, billed $359.88 up front, the Yearly plan lists unlimited live help, mock interviews and coding help. OphyAI is credit-based: Pro’s 300 credits cover about 20 Standard Copilot sessions, and Coding Interview needs Premium at $59 a month.
  • A lifetime plan. LinkJob AI sells a $999.99 one-time Lifetime plan. OphyAI has no lifetime plan.
  • Model choice. You can switch between all AI models in your plan; higher tiers name models such as Claude Opus 5 (Yearly) and GPT-6 Astra (Lifetime).
  • Linux, Lark and Webex. It lists Linux installers and names Lark and Cisco Webex, which OphyAI’s Interview Copilot facts do not list.
  • A longer no-cost try. 30 minutes (45 or 60 with extra steps) against OphyAI’s 15-minute first session.
  • Delivery feedback, by its own account. Its mock interview page says it analyzes “tone, fluency, and pacing” (a vendor claim we did not test). OphyAI does not claim delivery scores.

Limitations and Watch-Outs

  • Monthly is $99.99. That is more than three times OphyAI Pro at $29 and about $41 more than OphyAI Premium at $59. It buys a month of what LinkJob calls unlimited use, and monthly plans are non-refundable. Its smallest purchase is $119.99 paid once.
  • Big up-front payments. Yearly is $359.88 in one charge, compared with OphyAI Pro at $278 a year. Lifetime is $999.99, up from $699.99 in June 2026.
  • Its pages disagree on billing. The pricing page sells auto-renewing subscriptions, while its terms say subscriptions “will not be automatically debited” and “are generally non-refundable.” Ask support in writing which applies before paying.
  • Privacy wording differs. Its FAQ says “Linkjob AI never stores interview transcriptions,” while its privacy policy lists “interview transcriptions, interviewer questions, and users responses” among collected data. Read both before you decide.
  • Desktop only. No browser or mobile version is offered, and you install the app and click through the system prompts above.
  • No resume or application tools. For an ATS resume, cover letters or a job tracker you would need a second product.
  • Small public sample. Trustpilot showed 4.3 from 10 reviews on September 29, 2026, and its pricing page offers a one-hour trial for leaving a Reddit or Trustpilot review. Product Hunt showed no reviews.
  • Vendor claims we do not repeat as fact. Its site advertises offer counts, 95% accuracy, sub-second answers and stealth. We did not test any of them. Whether an assistant is allowed depends on the employer, so read companies that allow AI in interviews and ask your recruiter.

To be fair, on a full year of heavy use LinkJob’s $29.99 Yearly plan lists more usage than OphyAI’s credits, and it offers model choice and a Lifetime plan. OphyAI has no $9 plan: the Basic plan was retired in July 2026, so articles showing a $9 Basic plan, Pro at $19 or Premium at $39 are out of date (current pricing).

How to Decide

  1. Count your interviews. One or two this month: a free OphyAI first session (eligible new users) plus a $9.99 pass (where offered) or Pro at $29 costs less than LinkJob’s $99.99 month. A long search where you will commit for a year: LinkJob’s Yearly plan can win on price per month.
  2. Read the billing and refund terms. LinkJob’s pricing page and terms differ, so test the 30-minute trial and confirm the renewal and refund rules with support before a large payment.
  3. Match the tool to the round. Need Linux, Lark or Webex, a Lifetime plan, or a choice of AI model? LinkJob AI fits. Want mock interviews, resume and application tools in the same account as live help? Choose OphyAI.
  4. Confirm the employer allows it and follow their rules. See is using an interview copilot ethical or cheating.
  5. Rehearse before the live call. Practice the hardest round in OphyAI Interview Practice, then use Copilot on the day. Start practicing →

Frequently Asked Questions

Is LinkJob AI worth it?

LinkJob AI is worth considering if you will interview for months and can pay for a Yearly ($359.88) or Lifetime ($999.99) plan, since every paid plan lists unlimited use. It is poor value as a one-month purchase at $99.99, and its pricing page and terms conflict on renewals and refunds, so confirm those rules first.

How much does LinkJob AI cost?

On September 29, 2026, LinkJob AI charged $99.99 for the Monthly plan, $69.99 a month billed $209.97 quarterly, $29.99 a month billed $359.88 yearly, and $999.99 for Lifetime. The same three subscriptions can be paid once without renewal for $119.99, $239.97 and $479.88. Displayed prices include tax.

Does LinkJob AI have a free plan?

No. Its pricing page shows no $0 plan. You get a free trial code instead: 30 minutes when you download the app, 45 minutes for joining its Discord or WhatsApp, and one hour for a Reddit or Trustpilot review. It allows one trial per person.

Can I get a refund from LinkJob AI?

Only in limited cases. Its pricing FAQ gives money back on first-time Quarterly and Yearly purchases when there are significant technical bugs. Monthly plans, renewals and upgrades are non-refundable, and its terms call subscriptions “generally non-refundable.” Get any exception in writing.

Can interviewers tell if you use LinkJob AI?

LinkJob AI markets stealth features, but that is a vendor claim we did not test and do not repeat as fact. No copilot controls what an employer allows, and some employers restrict AI help. Check the employer’s own candidate page and ask your recruiter before using any tool in an interview.

What is a cheaper alternative to LinkJob AI?

For a short search, OphyAI costs less month to month: Pro is $29 a month with 300 credits (about 20 Standard Copilot sessions of up to 2 hours), Premium is $59 with 500 credits, and a $9.99 Interview Pass covers one session where offered. LinkJob’s Yearly plan is cheaper per month for unlimited use. See the OphyAI alternatives hub.
