Is there an AI tool that gives real-time answers during a job interview?

Yes. OphyAI Interview Copilot transcribes the interviewer's questions during a live Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Meet call and streams suggested answers based on your resume and the job description into a private picture-in-picture overlay called Whisper Mode, or into a floating window in the OphyAI desktop app for Mac and Windows that is hidden from screen sharing. It runs in the browser with no install required, supports 35 languages, and your first session of up to 15 minutes is free with no credit card.

Is there a free AI interview copilot?

Yes. Eligible new OphyAI users get their first Standard Interview Copilot session free for up to 15 minutes, with no credit card. Not every copilot offers this: Final Round AI's pricing page says there is no free trial and live sessions need an active Pro subscription (checked September 29, 2026).

How much does an AI interview copilot cost?

OphyAI Pro is $29 a month with 300 credits, which covers about 20 live Standard Copilot sessions of up to 2 hours each at 15 credits per session. Premium is $59 a month with 500 credits and adds Coding Interview. If you only have one interview coming up, a one-time $9.99 Interview Pass covers one Standard session with no subscription. OphyAI no longer sells a $9 Basic plan; it was retired in July 2026.

Does the interview copilot work with Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet?

Yes. Interview Copilot runs in your browser alongside Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet interviews and listens through the microphone permission you grant. On Mac and Windows you can also use the OphyAI desktop app, which hears the interviewer through system audio with no virtual audio cable. Run the free first session on the exact device, browser or app, and meeting app you will use, so you know how the audio and overlay behave before the real interview.

Can the interviewer see the AI copilot?

Do not assume it is invisible. In the browser, Whisper Mode is a private picture-in-picture window on your screen, but what others can see depends on what you share or record, your browser, operating system, device and the meeting platform. Sharing your full screen or using a monitored device can expose more than a single tab. For screen sharing, the OphyAI desktop app for Mac and Windows is the stronger option: the operating system excludes its answer window from screen sharing and recording, so Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams do not show it even on a full-screen share. It does not hide the window from a camera pointed at your screen, someone in the room, or proctoring software that inspects running apps. Test the setup first and follow the interviewer's rules.

Which languages does the interview copilot support?

OphyAI Interview Copilot supports 35 languages for listening to questions and writing suggested answers. A language count does not prove accuracy for every accent or technical vocabulary, so use the free first session to test the language and accent you will interview in.

Is it allowed to use an AI copilot in a job interview?

It depends on the employer. Some companies ask candidates not to use AI tools during interviews or assessments, while others allow AI for preparation. Read the employer's candidate guidance, ask the recruiter when in doubt, and use Interview Practice to rehearse beforehand so you rely less on live help.

What is the difference between Interview Copilot and Interview Practice?

Interview Copilot helps during a real, live interview by suggesting answers in real time. Interview Practice is an AI mock interview in voice or text that asks follow-up questions and gives per-answer feedback and a transcript, so you can rehearse before the real interview. Both are included on Pro and Premium and share the same credits.
